ZAR Wood Patch is a latex-based wood filler compound designed to repair and restore wood surfaces both indoors and outdoors. Whether you're filling nail holes, repairing cracks and gouges, or fixing broken corners and chipped edges, this neutral-colored patch provides a reliable solution for furniture, trim, cabinetry, and exterior wood structures.
Unlike conventional wood fillers that leave a visible "halo" effect or light discoloration around the repair, ZAR Wood Patch accepts stain more readily than standard patching compounds, blending seamlessly with the surrounding wood once finished. The paste can be nailed, sawed, sanded, or drilled, giving you flexibility in shaping the repair to match the surrounding surface.
Features and Benefits
- Superior Stain Acceptance: Accepts stain, paint, varnish, shellac, and polyurethanes uniformly, matching the surrounding wood finish without the halo effect common with other fillers.
- Versatile Repairability: Fills nail holes, repairs cracks, gouges, broken corners, and chipped edges on wood surfaces with a workable paste consistency.
- Shapeable After Curing: Can be nailed, sawed, sanded, or drilled once cured, allowing you to customize the repair to fit your project needs.
- Low Shrinkage: Shrinks only slightly during curing, helping maintain the smoothness and integrity of the repair.
- Indoor and Outdoor Use: Performs reliably on interior furniture and outdoor wooden structures, making it suitable for any wood repair project.
