Dap Roof & Flashing Sealant is a one-part, moisture-curing, commercial-grade polyurethane sealant designed to create permanent, waterproof seals on exterior gaps, joints and cracks. This high-performance elastomeric sealant is specially formulated for roofing and flashing applications where long-term durability and flexibility are essential. It solves the common problems of water infiltration, deteriorating seals, and structural movement that can compromise the integrity of your roof and exterior components.

The sealant offers exceptional adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and remains permanently flexible, accommodating ±35% joint movement while maintaining a watertight seal. Once dry, it can be painted to match any exterior color. Its superior cut and tear resistance means it can handle foot traffic, vehicle traffic, and the stresses of outdoor exposure without peeling or lifting.

Features and Benefits

  • Flexible and Durable: Accommodates up to ±35% joint movement while maintaining a waterproof seal, backed by a 50-year durability guarantee.
  • Excellent Adhesion: Bonds strongly to most substrates, resisting peeling and lifting over time for long-lasting performance.
  • Paintable: Once dry, the black sealant can be painted to match your exterior color scheme.
  • Commercial Grade: Formulated for heavy-duty outdoor use on roofs, gutters, chimneys, skylights, ducts and other exposed areas.
  • Handles Traffic: Exceptional cut and tear resistance withstands foot and vehicle traffic without compromising the seal.
  • Moisture-Curing: One-part formulation that cures through exposure to ambient moisture for convenient application.
